It was another hugely enjoyable evening at the BingoPort Player’s Choice Awards 2019 for Red Spins. The 12th edition of this prestigious event was held at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel on 7th February and proved as popular as ever. However, this year’s instalment was made all the sweeter after we were nominated for an award!

Red Spins Gets Nominated

Our nomination for Best Nektan Slots Site was a real thumbs-up for a team that works tirelessly to refine and enhance our brand. Thanks to our innovations and hard graft, the Red Spins website has become a dynamic and compelling online gaming platform. Over the past two years we’ve make a number of tweaks and improvements.

In keeping with our player-centric approach, we became the first Nektan slots site which enabled players to drill down to their favourite online slots games. Some of the inaugural winners of these new categories included Chit Chat Bingo, which landed the prize for Best Dragonfish Slots Site. Rocket Bingo enjoyed a successful evening too as it scooped Best Jumpman Slots Site. The prize for Best New Slots Site went to Wild Spins while the most coveted gongs, Best Overall Slot Site and Best Overall Bingo Site, went to mFortune and Tombola respectively.

The Future

Despite our nomination, we won’t be resting on our laurels as the team continues to develop our platform. It’s already fully-responsive, operating flawlessly across all devices and there’s also a dedicated app for Android smart phones. The first Player’s Choice Awards were held back in 2008 and have become a staple event in little over a decade. They’ve traditionally been held in tandem with the London Affiliate Conference as well as the ICE Conference. These coveted events draw industry professionals from around the world and offer the perfect opportunity to showcase services, cement existing relationships and forge new partnerships. So it makes perfect sense to hold such an award ceremony, given that all the great and good of iGaming are assembled in one spot. Unsurprisingly, this year’s iteration was the most highly-attended yet, attracting representatives from some of the biggest, most popular bingo and online casino websites in the industry.

The People behind the Player’s Choice Awards

The organisers of the Player’s Choice Awards, BingoPort have a long history and storied history in the online bingo industry. Set up in 2007, they were the first affiliate site to offer an online bingo comparison service. The company was founded by Scott Logan and Roo Wright, before being sold to Gaming Realms PLC in 2015. It was then acquired by 1st Lead in March of 2018. Despite the upheaval, the brand’s reputation continues to grow as does its community of online slots and bingo players.
